STEM–From Coding to Computational Thinking
These supplies will supplement equipment purchased through the previous Mobile Marker grant. The Bee-Bot Robots, WeDo Lego and Sphero SPRK+ will help to unleash innovation on an on- going basis. Students will put STEM skills into real-world use while building teamwork and fostering creativity.
Focus and Engaged
These products will be utilized to assist students that tend to struggle with staying focused and engaged during independent work sessions. Phonetic Decoding Learning Centers for the Classroom
These materials will provide opportunities for the students to practice their phonetic skills in a fun and inviting center activity. This will help students become more fluent in their reading, writing and use of vowels.
Executive Function–Time Management
These timers will give the visual learners a tool to teach them time management. Students will lean to visualize time they will be able to organize their tasks in & out of the classroom as well as be able to recognize and manage distractions. This will result in an increase in task completion.
