Calculator-Based Labs
A lab-based initiative to enhance the high school science program, Calculator-Based Labs will provide a calculator interface and electronic probes to allow students to collect, record and graph real-time data in experiments across the science curriculum, including areas such as photosynthesis, respiration, and conductivity.
Multimedia Presentation Carts
This grant provides each elementary school with a multi-media presentation cart. The new cart will allow teachers and students to further access internet resources, present student work, reinforce lessons, and design class projects in a digital framework.
Motion Acceleration and Force
This hands-on science program will provide three computer probe systems to support the physics classes in measuring real-life problems in motion, acceleration and force.
College Information Night
The High School Guidance Department will offer three evening programs to juniors, seniors, and their parents to further inform them of the college application, admission, and financial aid application processes.
A Garden for Learning: Creating and Sustaining a School Vegetable Garden
Assorted seeds and supplies to initially be used by 40 students in two third grade classes. This grant was funded by C.R. Bard
