This technology-based presentation integrates scientific content with science and math practices, cross-cutting concepts and engineering principles so students can see the interrelated nature of the 4 STEM subjects while investigating the solar system.

STEM-An Alternative Energy and Solar Cars

This STEM project, will investigate how solar energy can be used to power a variety of moving machines including solar cars. Students will design prototypes and test their machines using the Engineering Design Process before optimizing their design in collaboration with other students.
