Imagine bringing the Hayden Planetarium into a classroom…. Well, this presentation does just that! This technology-based presentation integrates scientific content with science and math practices, cross-cutting concepts and engineering principles so students can see the interrelated nature of the 4 STEM subjects while investigating the solar system.
This grant provides a class set of headphones with microphones for each building in district. This will compliment our iPad learning by allowing students to more efﬁciently engage in the three modes of communication.
This STEM project, will investigate how solar energy can be used to power a variety of moving machines including solar cars. Students will design prototypes and test their machines using the Engineering Design Process before optimizing their design in collaboration with other students.
