Humanities in Film Project
An exciting unit in the Humanities curriculum is the study and creation of film. Two of the most important aspects of film are quality cinematography and editing. This grants provides access to high quality cameras and editing software that is essential to establish a captivating story.
Auditorium Sound System Upgrade
Due to the multi-use nature of the auditorium and its impact on nearly every program and department within the school, upgrading the sound system provides immediate and long-lasting benefits for our students, faculty, parents, and community. By addressing the loudspeaker system, the audio upgrade will improve audio coverage, quality, and versatility to the sound system.
Cardiac Classroom
By attending the Live From Surgery program a the Liberty Science Center, student are able to experience an operating room, peer over the shoulders of the medical team, and talk to surgeons during surgery. Promoting STEM through the use of Rockets
Providing various equipment, students design, build, test and modify rockets while investigating a variety of physics. In addition, the rocket design activities can be adapted to address additional physics concepts and incorporate the 3D printer as students design and modify their rockets.
Stepping Ahead Today Equals Always Conquering Testing (SAT/ACT)
This college preparedness grant provides students with an online self directed method to prepare for SAT/ACT testing. This self paced program provides students effective lessons which allows for customizable lessons based immediate feedback at no charge to the student.
