iNeed iPads
With the purchase of 6 iPads and various accessories, including a volume purchasing card, students will continue to be more engaged as 21st Century Learners. The use of technology enables students to engage with technology, collaborate with others and apply knowledge they learn. By adding iPads to the library, many students and staff benefit.
Using Heart Rate Monitors to Increase Fitness Level
The Physical Education departments will be utilizing heart rate monitors during class to enhance the activity levels of student. The goal of this project is to develop a greater fitness bases as well as enable students to monitor their progress/effort.
Robotics Module
Building upon a previous grant, the Middle School introduced a Robotics module titled “RoboChallenge: Race Against Time”. The module builds on the experiences of the fourth and sixth grade models of design curriculum. The addition of the EV3 Robotics kit provides programmable intelligent bricks that control motors and sensors, as well as providing wireless communication.
