Beyond Robotics, Micro-Computers in STEM
This continuation of a hands-on activity supports Computer Science and Engineering curriculum The Micro:bits are small computers to which students can add sensors to input information and output devices such as lights, buzzers, etc. This allows the students to create these computer systems and them write programs to operate them.

Enhancement to the coding curriculum will add the Root Robot. This will allow students to code in other ways, which allows them to feel comfortable and progress at a higher level.

Enhancements to the Tower Garden program for continued utilization of this food production tool. This helps expose students to new & innovative technology that can address global issues.
Creating Refugee Shelters
New equipment will help students in designing shelters through the iterative process. These new devices will allow engineering students to test and collect data on their initial designs and then redesign based on their analysis.
Taking Code to the Next Level of Innovation-
The STEM Department will update the MS Coding Mod course and introduce more rigorous, real-life and innovative coding application choices.
