Transporting Students via Green Screen Technology
This grant will provide an opportunity for students to use green screen technology to transport themselves to places that would not be otherwise possible. They will be able to superimpose themselves in a far away land, shrink themselves to explore the human body, or explore careers inside authentic locations.
“App”ealing Library Learning
With the purchase of 6 iPads and various accessories, including a volume purchasing card, students will continue to be more engaged as 21st Century Learners in the learning center.
A Teacher’s Sensory Toolbox
Students will be provided sensory tools during instruction, independent work, and partner work. These self-regulation tools help provide subtle movement input while students remain sitting.
Guided Reading Short Reads from Scholastic
The goal of this program is to build student’s academic proficiency in the major areas of the common core by using complex informational texts at their independent reading level.
Hovercams for Everyday Instruction
By providing a document camera in classrooms, teachers are able to present any object, worksheet, student’s work or demonstration as part of a lesson. Teachers can also record video/audio, create video and enlarge any image.
