Visiting Artist – Visual & Performing Arts
Brenda Earle is an internationally acclaimed jazz pianist, vocalist, composer, and arranger and is currently an instructor at the Manhattan School of Music and City College. The NPEF grant helped provide the students with the opportunity to have quality musical interactions and experiences with an active member of the performing arts community. The students improvised and composed various pieces of music, performed standard vocal repertoire, learned about the career path of a performing artist, and experienced a live jazz performance.
