Micro Dome – A View Port to the Universe
For the last three years the students at NP Middle and High Schools have been able to view the power of the Hayden Planetarium by having Aram Freidman, the former engineering director of the Hayden Planetarium, produce the three dimensional universe in the classroom.
The program helps students understand the 3D relationship of the Earth and Sun during the seasons, view solar and lunar eclipses from different perspectives and investigate the solar system and planets in fly-by mode.
