Navigate through Learning
Some of the classrooms are currently equipped with mobile laptop carts, which carry six laptops. To increase classroom productivity, the purchase and use of an external mouse allows students to navigate the computer at a much faster pace. When combined with headphones and microphones, it gives the students an even higher level of interaction.
The students can listen to words pronounced in ‘Kidspiration’, directions on various educational sites, and listen to stories on ‘Book Flicks’. The NPEF grant provided these external mice and headphones with microphones for 10 K through 6 classrooms as well as 5 grade level carts that are circulated throughout the Salt Brook School.
