Differentiated Literacy Centers
Providing second graders with differentiated, hands-on “literacy centers” consisting of various highly-motivating manipulative exercises and critical-thinking games is essential to the learning process.
These exercises help reinforce specific reading comprehension, writing, word/work skills and concepts, as well as assist students in developing concrete, abstract, and critical thinking skills.
