Thu and her husband, Adam, have lived in New Providence since 2013 with their children, Cooper and Isla, who attend Allen W Roberts Elementary. Looking for a strong community that cared for kids like their own, New Providence was a perfect fit for their family. Originally from Pittsburgh, PA, Thu received her Bachelors in Business Marketing and Psychology from Carnegie Mellon University and is currently the Head of eCommerce for a health-food brand called Nutiva. Thu’s husband is a leader in sales and marketing for a pharmaceutical company and his joy is coaching their kids’ sports teams in basketball, baseball, football, and softball.
Thu has been heavily invested in her children’s education, working with the PTA as a Room Parent every year as well as being the Cultural chair. Thu is also part of the New Providence Mental Health Alliance and Education for the Borough, working to create programs and education that provide support for the mental health of our community, especially our students. Professionally, Thu co-chaired the women’s networking organization at her prior company, which created an open space and forum, offering peer-support and mentorship to navigate work-life balance and advice on career growth.
Thu’s passion is to provide a strong foundation for all of our children through education, mental health, and physical health and is looking forward to working with NPEF to raise funds for the educational programs that will allow our students to thrive and grow.
