Upgrading Wonder Workshop Robots in Gr. 1 STEM
The STEM curriculum for Kindergarten and 1st Grade includes these robots to give students a tangible way to apply math and science concepts in programming tasks. Students use their critical thinking and creativity when working with the robots.
STEMming Up with Strawbees
Strawbees is used by the elementary school STEM teachers in both Computer Science and Engineering units. The kits are used to design structure and models, which teaches the students how to prototype engineering solutions.
Vernier GoDirect Probe
The Vernier Go Direct Probes allow high school and middle school students to conduct experiments and collect data that integrate with their school iPads in real-time. The probes are inline with the NGSS/NJSLS-Science standards and will allow students to more effectively learn these science and engineering skills.
Empowering Our Innovators: 3D Printing-STEM Class
The 3D printers are used by both high school and middle school students in the Architecture, Engineering, and Design and Modeling curriculums. The 3D models are created as prototypes and enhance the analysis and design processes in the classroom.
Vex V5 Enhancements
High school students learn about cybersecurity, digital circuits and Internet of Things (IoT) technologies with Micro:Bits and Arduino Explore IoT Kit Rev2. These resources continue to modernize the current STEM curriculum and give the students a more interactive, project-based approach to learning.
