Mosaic Squares for Front Lobby
All interested Middle School and High School students will work together to create a series of mosaic panels to be installed in front of the guidance office to leave a lasting footprint on the school while exploring this unusual art medium.
Interviewing for Life
Three evening interviewing skills training sessions covering college and job interviewing will be offered to seniors and juniors. The program will also include and in-school breakfast with invited members of the community who will “interview” the students and conduct small group discussions in their career fields of interest.
SAT De-Stress
These evenings sessions will be offered to students shortly before taking their SAT exam to help them “de-stress” by understanding test-taking strategies such as timing, pacing, types of questions, and standard instructions.
College Information Nights
The High School Guidance Department will offer three evening programs to juniors, seniors, and their parents to further inform them of the college application, admission and financial aid application processes.
Multimedia Presentation Carts
This grant provides each elementary school with a multi-media presentation cart. The new cart will allow teachers and students to further access internet resources, present student work, reinforce lessons, and design class projects in a digital framework.
