Linda DeGeorge has resided in New Providence for over ten years and moved here from Union NJ. Linda has four children. She has a son and daughter at New Providence High School, a son at the Middle School, and a daughter who graduated from New Providence High School. Linda earned a BA from Kean University in Physical Education/Health and taught Physical Education for 7 years at Union High before earning her Master’s Degree in School Counseling from Kean University. She has been a school counselor in the Union School District for over 14 years. She has volunteered in numerous activities for the school system and served as President of Roberts PTA and Middle School Vice President. She teaches CCD at Corpus Christi Parish in Chatham. She was a Girl Scout leader for four years in addition to coaching girls basketball, track, and soccer at the high school level.
Linda became involved in NPEF to continue the wonderful work that previous and current members are working for, the welfare of our children. She wants to make a difference in the education of our children and help support teachers in their efforts to have the resources needed for our children to achieve their maximum potential.
